There is more to curb appeal than what a potential buyer sees from the curb!  Along with making your yard neat, picture perfect, and "welcoming" there are other things to also consider to make the buyer's first impression a lasting one!

Tips to keep the front of your home tidy

Along with the tips listed above, here are some additional things you can do to make your potential buyer's visit a most memorial one.

1. De-clutter around your front door: Remove any clutter around your entrance including furniture, pots, and entry mats and thoroughly clean everything, making sure to repaint or touch up as needed. You’ll also want to polish any metal knobs or fixtures. A great entrance can ensure that every other part of your home is more inviting as well.

2. Trim, prune, and weed: Make sure your shrubs are trimmed and not blocking windows and opportunities for natural light. Add color with freshly potted flowers and plants. Manicure your lawn and ensure there are no weed gardens and all mulch is in place.  A stunning landscape can make a buyer automatically assume and be ready for an equally stunning house.

3.  Consider painting your front door: A bright red or blue door really pops. Make sure the color you select matches that of your home and either adds good contrast, or blends with the current hues of your home.

4.  Eye catching house numbers: House Numbers?  House numbers are not just for function, adding a planter / number combo make a unique front entry display that is warm and attractive.  Remember to make sure house numbers are at least 4" tall so they can be seen from the street.
